Rudy Giuliani’s Indignation
Renowned lawyer and former Mayor of New York, Rudy Giuliani, has publically displayed his outrage over former President Donald Trump’s indictment in relation to the events of January 6th, 2021. The lawyer, who was Trump’s personal attorney during his time in office, has blasted the decision, calling it an “unjust persecution”.
Giuliani voiced his dissent loudly during a live radio broadcast, stating vehemently his belief in Trump’s innocence and calling the indictment a “politically motivated attack on democracy”.
Trump’s Jan. 6 Indictment
Trump’s indictment was handed down earlier this month for his alleged incitement of the deadly Capitol riots that took place on January 6, 2021. It marks the second time that the former President has been indicted since leaving office in 2021.
