In a disturbing incident at a popular AMC Movie Theater, a patron was brutally attacked late yesterday due to a disagreement over reserved seating.
The altercation, which occurred at the AMC in the heart of New York City in bustling Times Square, escalated rapidly, scattering terrified movie-goers who had been excitedly anticipating the evening’s premiere of a much-awaited sequel.
Dispute Escalates Into Violence
Witnesses say a dispute over reserved seats was the catalyst for the brawl that saw a young man hospitalised with severe injuries. The victim, only identified as Ben, had reportedly shown his mobile e-ticket indicating his right to the seats.
Despite this, an irate couple insisted the seats were theirs, leading to a heated exchange of words before the male suspect launched into a physical assault on Ben.
