Residents of California were left puzzled last night as strange, bright streaks of light were spotted in the sky. Witnesses reported seeing the bizarre phenomenon over various parts of the state at around 8 pm. Experts are yet to confirm the origin of the lights.
What Were the Lights?
The streaks were described as bright blue and green lines that appeared to be moving at high speeds across the sky. The unusual occurrence lasted for several minutes before disappearing.

Experts Weigh In
NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) based in California confirmed that they had no record of any planned rocket launches or meteor activity at the time the lights were seen. The JPL’s lead astronomer, Dr. Sharon McGuire, however, noted that the objects appeared to be moving too slowly to be meteors.
The FBI has also issued a statement saying that they are aware of reports of the strange lights but have nothing to disclose at this time.
