SOUTH BEND, INDIANA – A man is recovering after being shot in a terrifying road rage incident on Wednesday afternoon. Video footage captured moments after the shooting shows the victim, identified only as John, gasping for air and repeatedly saying, “He’s trying to kill me.â€
The incident took place on the busy intersection of Wilshire and Jenkins, where the victim was driving his pickup truck. According to witnesses, the incident started when the shooter, identified as Jake, cut in front of John’s truck and slammed on his brakes. The two drivers then got into a heated argument before the shooter pulled out a gun and opened fire.
